Learn English Software

I want to start learning German like i started learning English 10 years ago. I had some cards with words and picture above them. Is there any software that can teach me some basic things? - Words, phrases etc. Learning English was fun and satisfieding. I wish i can learn German the same way i learned English.

I am trying to learn English, but it doesn’t seem easy to me.
I have decide to ask one more question every day. I guess this will help extend my expression skill. Could you suggest to me if you have any other idea for learning english with fun?
