why does everybody have to learn english in order to understand the world?
english has become the first language for many reasons.. but everybody has to learn that language if you want to be succesful.. I am not native speaker.. but I am learning english.. everybody in the world speaks in english.. in china etc. at least they are learning or they know the basic words.. the majority of the good information is in english why is that?

Perhaps because Bill Gates speaks English!
I’m not sure… but, the more foreign/additional languages you know, the better. I’m a native English speaker, but I learned Spanish because I loved latin cultures… I also speak Italian and French, because it’s my interest.
BTW (by the way), you speak great English! What’s your first language?
